Veteran's Weekend!

We went fishing today with sunrise at 6:44am. Boy does that look wonderful over the bay bridge or what? It really is something to see when the slit of the sun is just cresting over the horizon and you get to see the entire red ball of flames come up into the sky. Faron Jr. and I were singing "Here comes the sun". It was priceless.

Paul got a chance to hold the pole a little today while I was at the boat wheel. I did okay but Paul did great! See below!

Our first rock keeper. It made waking up at 5:30 worth it!

We also caught some perch which I really love to eat. We got to break in our live well which was really cool. We caught a bunch of those and I can't wait to eat them up.
Here is Faron Jr. waiting for us to pull into the slip. We've got our dock line duties all lined up. We're a good team.
We had to break early for Grace's baptism so here we are cleaning up the boat before heading out. Since tomorrow is a holiday for Paul, maybe he will be heading out on Reel It In Panaroy tomorrow so stay tuned.

The sunrise looks beautiful. There are only a few things in life we get up early for and that's one of them and so worth it to see God's creations.
